Come here, listen to my Wikipedia research. It’s very scientific, assigning dog breeds to fictional characters.

Leslie Knope - Golden Retriever “They will work until they collapse, so care should be taken to avoid overworking them.”  Leslie is probably less patient, however.

Ben Wyatt - Border Collie One of the most intelligent breeds, Border Collies get a little weird if they aren’t being mentally stimulated enough. You can also dress them up as Batman.

Ann Perkins - Doberman “the breed is well known as an intelligent, alert, and loyal companion dog”  Ann will mess you up, okay?

Ron Swanson - Tibetan Mastiff “intelligent and stubborn to a fault”, “not an appropriate dog for apartment living”  I think the word they’re looking for is “obstinate”.

Chris Treager - Greyhound In every possible way. I’m a little spooked, actually.

Tom Haverford - Pomeranian “very friendly and lively”, “can suffer from separation anxiety”  They’re also pretty smart, and do well with guidance and training. Also the size thing.

Jerry Gergich - Great Pyrenees “can be slow to learn new commands” - “Oh my god Jerry! When you check your email you go to AltaVista and type ‘please go to yahoo.com’?”

Donna Meagle - Afghan Hound Obviously the most fabulous looking dog, but also “can be aloof and dignified, but happy and clownish when it’s playing”

Andy Dwyre - Mutt I figure he’s tried to eat his own poop from time to time, but he’s not a bad guy
